Afternoon Updates!

- Brad and Angelina were supposed to open the Golden Globes last night, but received pressure from the organizers of the Academy Awards not to appear (so J Lo filled in.) Apparently, all of the major movie stars were told that if they presented at the Golden Globes they could forget appearing at the Oscars.

- Sean Penn refused to attend the Golden Globes because Milk was not nominated for best Picture.

- Speaking of the Golden Globes, don't forget to DVR the "Fashion Police" specials which will air tonight on E!

- Faye Dunaway will be guest starring on Grey's Anatomy. Here's hoping she hits Katherine Heigel with some wire hangers.

- On 90210, look for Silver to start showing signs of mental illness. Word is that she'll be diagnosed as Bi-Polar.

- Hillary Duff will star in NBC's new half hour comedy called "Barely Legal" about a young attorney.

- American Idol starts tomorrow! I'm not a huge fan of the first few weeks, but I look forward to finding my guyliner crush who I will support throughout the show.

- Tonight's episode of How I Met Your Mother features cameos by Spencer and Heidi, Kim Kardashian, and Kendra Wilkinson (Hugh Hefner's former girlfriend.)
