- Melissa George (Sadie) is leaving Grey's Anatomy. What do they do to actors on that show....they seem to drop like flies!
- Ray Romano will have an hour long drama coming to TNT next year. "Men of a Certain Age" will star Romano alongside Andre Braugher and Scott Bakula and is focused on three fortysomething college buddies who are each coming to terms with a midlife that doesn't live up to their previous expectations.
- American Idol tonight! WOO HOO! New judge Kara DioGuardi says that the guys definitely outshine the girls this season. Sounds good to me, except that the judges initially loved Sanjaya too....
- Amanda Detmer (from What About Brian) has signed on to Private Practice.
- Howie Mandel was hospitalized for heart problems yesterday in his hometown in Canada.
- Look for Taylor Swift to appear as a troubled teenager on an upcoming episode of CSI.
- Friday Night Lights returns this Friday night! If there is one show I would recommend to anyone, it's this. If you have time to catch up on the first two seasons you should, but it's not necessary. Honestly the best show on television - well written, superbly acted, and just plain real. Stacey and Molly - - if you two don't watch you'll be sorry!!
- Kelly Clarkson's new single has been released to radio. I like the song, but I prefer the angry "boys stink" theme of her past albums - this one is a bit too "I was wrong, you're the bestest ever...." Take a listen and let me know what you think!
