The new TV season so far...

After looking at ratings over the past couple weeks, and reading lots of articles, here's what I'm seeing (so far) for the new fall TV season.

Most likely to Succeed:
  • New Girl (I loved the pilot, thought the second episode was just ok...)
  • 2 Broke Girls (Watched the pilot...blah...not a fan)
  • Ringer (I think this may be my fav new show of the season - I look forward to every episode...)
  • Revenge (I didn't watch, but others seem to be enjoying...)
  • Person of Interest (same as above...)
  • Whitney (Awful, awful show....someone, somewhere must have liked it...)
  • Pan Am (didn't watch, but I guess it did ok in the ratings...)
  • The X Factor (so incredibly boring...not sure I'll keep watching...)

On the Border
  • Up All Night (Pilot episode was bad, second episode was 100% better. I'm giving it a shot...)
  • Terra Nova (I expected much more...I'll give the second episode a chance...)
  • Unforgettable (read some awful reviews, so I'm not sure how long it will be around...)
  • Charlie's Angel's (same as above...)
  • Hart of Dixie (Both Mom and Jen loved, but it was removed from my weekly recordings...)

Not Much Hope
  • Prime Suspect (Decent reviews, but not many tuned in...)
  • The Playboy Club (Most likely to be canceled first...)
  • A Gifted Man (Awful time slot led to poor ratings, but it got decent reviews...)
  • Free Agents (Most likely to be canceled second...)

Big "yes" to RINGER -- love shows that can surprise me
HART OF DIXIE is filled with cliche' - but I think it has serious potential if they tell a good story.....love those charming southern boys. It will stay on my DVR
C'mon Mindi - give it a chance. It's got "Street" !!!

I agree with you about "2 Broke Girls" and "Up All Night." I'm going to have to check out "Hart of Dixie." I taped "Pan Am" on Sunday, but haven't watched it yet. I haven't even bothered with "X Factor" - I have too much that I watch on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Speaking of Wednesdays - "Suburgatory" was really funny if you get a chance to catch it.
