With rumored performances by ALL of the past Idol winners, I'm looking more forward to the "Goodbye Simon" portions of the program than anything else.
7:59 - I'm calling it now, Lee will win. (please note that on March 1st I said right here on this very blog that Lee and Crystal were the only two that didn't make my ears bleed...see how smart I am!)
8:02 - Is Lee attempting to be an NBC page? Or maybe auditioning for Dead Poet's Society 2?
8:07 - Alice Cooper and zombie teen choir...yep, exactly what I expected on the American Idol finale.
8:14 - Is it possible that Kris Allen got even cuter since last year?
8:20 - Bee Gees didn't sound so hot. Should have had Justin and Jimmy Fallon do the "Barry Gibb Talk Show" instead.
8:24 - I just read that SOAPnet is going away! Where will I watch Gilmore Girls and 90210 reruns?? So sad :(
8:34 - Had to pause my DVR so that I could fast forward through the butchering of "Beautiful"
8:40 - Not liking this Christina song. Nope, not at all.

8:51 - No me gusta John Oates without the mustache.
8:56 - "Would she go down with you to the theater" - - wow, those are very different lyrics than I remember in You Oughta Know.
9:09 - Bret Michaels is really everywhere these days. Shouldn't he (and his bandana) be taking it easy?
9:16 - Lee gets paired with Chicago? Is it 1978? Way to make him sound like a relevant/current recording artist Fox.

9:40 - Great to see all of the past Idols on the stage. (yay Kelly!!) But no David Cook? (Boooo)
9:43 - I feel sorry for Lee and Crystal. This has been the Simon Cowell farewell show and they've gotten almost zero camera time.
9:46 - Janet looks beautiful. And surprisingly, I like the short hair.
9:49 - Oh Em Gee - - Is Paula gonna dance with her like the old days?
10:01 - The person standing next to Ryan always wins.

I didn't like all of Christina's facial gestures - I think she may have been in pain.
I got a good chuckle out of the Crystal/Alanis lyrics as well.
Didn't Bret Michaels just have a minor stroke last week? Maybe it's his twin?
Totally agree - Chicago was a total buzz kill, and I really like Chicago.
Sucks there was no David Cook, but there was a Little David!! :)
Thought the same way about this year's runner-up as last's - Crystal will get a recording contract, but Lee probably wouldn't have as runner-up. Happy with the results.
Pretty much thought the same things you and Molly Moo thought. Couldn't believe I had to actually ff thru the B.G's -- Crystal actually had small animals living in her hair -- Lee = zombie-like, no charisma -- No life to the show until Janet came along -- The producers missed a huge opportunity when they barely showed us that there were popular former contestants in the group number. Why bother inviting them if they weren't even going to let us see who was there? Huge chance to remind folks they used to care about this show -- Wow, I'm so "jaded"
