TV Updates

Lots of TV updates for this week!

- Tonight is the finale of the Bachelor (Ugh...) which I only know because they are announcing the new cast of Dancing with the Stars. I've heard a few names already (Pam Anderson, Kate Gosselin, Shannen Doherty, Buzz Aldrin, Greg Louganis, Chad Ochocinco...) so I'm not anticipating much. I find it hard to believe that the network that freaked out over Adam Lambert's performance on the AMAs is going to let Pamela Anderson perform live. (The odds of a serious wardrobe malfunction are good aren't they?)

- Speaking of Adam Lambert, is anyone else as underwhelmed with American Idol as I am this season? I'm only marginally enjoying Lee Dewyze and Crystal Bowersox...the rest make my ears bleed. I'm hoping things change in the coming weeks, but I'm not hopeful.

- So far, Lost is meeting all of my expectations for the final season. I've (of course) had to cheat and read some spoilers about things that are coming up and I think most viewers will be very happy with the amount of answers coming soon. I'm still curious about who David's mother is (my guess is Juliette?) and I'd love to know if Jacob is really the bad guy and the "Man in Black" is good. Guess we'll all know in just another couple months.

- With the release of his new movie, Rob Pattinson is making the talk show circuit this week. Tonight he'll appear on the Late Show with Jimmy Fallon (which I'm looking forward to because Jimmy has done a series of parodys called "Robert is Bothered" which I'm sure will come up.) Then tomorrow, Rob will appear on The Daily Show with John Stewart - again, I'm sure John Stewart will provide for a very funny interview.

- New show tomorrow night which I think has promise called "Parenthood" on NBC. The show stars Lauren Graham (LORELAI GILMORE!!) and Peter Krause (from Dirty Sexy Money and Six Feet Under) so I've got high hopes for this one. Set your DVR!

- And finally, don't forget that the Oscars are this Sunday. I'll be watching the pre-show, post-show, fashion police, etc... Lots of SYTYCD dancers from past seasons are performing and of course I need to see what everyone will be wearing. For those of you who are fans of SYTYCD, watch this video of the dance auditions and you'll see lots of familiar faces.
