Not truly a "live-blog" cause I don't plan on documenting each and every thought I have as the evening progresses. However, until Gina and Elizabeth get here I'll make a few comments on the pre-show.
6:05 - Is Zack Efron over 18? I'm gonna go with yes, in which case I can say...damn, he's hot. But why is he at the Oscars? I don't think High School Musical 3 was nominated...
6:27 - I'm going to assume that many will disagree with me, but I think Nicole Ritchie looks amazing!
6:38 - Jim Cameron's wife is scary skinny.
6:41 - Tom Ford is the epitome of a handsome man. Why do the gorgeous ones always have to be gay?
6:48 - Sigorney Weaver is at least a foot taller than Ryan Seacrest. She looks awful BTW. (Red and Black is a no-no...)
Will resume the non-blog shortly...Gina, Elizabeth and I are enjoying our mac and cheese and OSCAR Meyer hot dogs.
7:13 - Miley Cyrus needs to stand up straight, and get a new dress, and learn to sing, and not be so annoying!!!
7:27 - George Clooney needs a haircut.
7:41 - Elizabeth is right, Demi Moore is aging backwards.
8:04 - Gina "those are not nipples"
8:32 - Kupono (from SYTYCD) was sitting in the row in front of J Lo, and Travis escorted Carey Mulligan off the stage.
9:36 - Gina wants to see an "animated documentary short"
9:36 - The red headed lady was totally having a Kanye moment.
10:18 - Is Kristen Stewart painfully shy or just a raving beeotch?
10:32 - We just had a 5 minute conversation followed by an IMDB search for (according to Gina) the "scary albino in the Firm" - - who knew she was right?
10:34 - Elizabeth, Gina, and I all want to say that Cindy Lum is totally wrong and Sigorney Weaver does not look great.
11:00 - Cindy Lum is wrong yet again...and she's not even here. (Made sure to double check the grammar this time before posting)
11:34 - Jeff Daniels FTW! Even if he does look a bit like Colonel Sanders...
11:59 - Guess they want to be done by midnight - very odd announcement of Best Picture.

Chad switched it to E! for a while while I was in the kitchen. He has officially watched more Oscar coverage then I have. :D I did get to see Mo'nique in her peacock blue dress. Fantastic color.
I found Kathy Ireland to be incredibly annoying. Yay! for NPH :)
Chad's friend worked on the Star Trek makeup artist team that just won the Oscar. He made Spock's ears. :D
Awww, I think Sigourney looks beautiful in her dress. Much better than in years past.

I asked Chad, "What's worse, when they dance or when they sing?" He said, "dance." I would have to agree. That's why we can never watch SYTYCD or DWTS. Apologies to the dance-a-holics.

I didn't watch the telecast - I know, I suck - but I have the E! Fashion Police post-show taped on the DVR. I did read about the crazy red-headed Kanye West, though. What's up with that nutjob?
