American Idol Results Show

Stepping onto conspiracy theory soapbox!

There is absolutely zero chance that Adam Lambert was in what most people think of as "the bottom two" on American Idol last night. Remember, Ryan never specifically says "the person with the lowest number of votes" until he is reffering to the person going home. The other people in the "bottom" can be whoever the producers want to put there to get the most dramatic effect and best ratings.

Please note that I don't doubt that Danny (Hokey) Gokey did well the previous night. He may be creepy, but he can sing. But, the producers will do anything and everything to ensure that it's Danny and Adam as the final two - AND they don't want it to look like Adam has the whole thing all sewn up. So, if making it look like Adam's obvious front runner status is declining, it will make it look like Danny has a chance AND then the producers win.

There are disclaimers at the end of every reality show stating that the producers have the right to interfere with production, etc.... If it was truly decided based on viewer votes, there would be no legal need for such a disclaimer. Reality shows are far from reality....

And when the final two are Kris and Allison, I'll claim that my evil twin wrote this post...

I completely agree with you. Honestly, if Adam doesn't win the whole thing, it will be a travesty. He is miles above everyone else, and each week he just blows everyone out of the water. He's a great entertainer, whereas the others are just great singers. I'm gonna keep rooting for the underdogs, though! :)
