Thoughts on SYTYCD

Just a few thoughts on last night's episode of So You Think You Can Dance.

• I adore Lady Gaga. First she wears a crazy blue wig, then she talks like she's holding her nose, and finally she tells Nappy Tabs that they stink. Priceless.
• Good to see Ivan dancing again on my TV screen. I had completely forgotten that he and Travis used to be BFF, but then had some sort of falling out. Rumor has it that the Emmy nominated piece Travis choreographed last year was about Ivan.
• Still not a fan of Jordan. Nope...not at all.
• While I really liked the Marko and Allison piece, it was a complete rip off of the Alex Wong/Allison piece from last season. Sonya choreography...check - pained expressions...check - Allison...check - Jeff Buckley music...check
• Hi Neil...in the words of David Cassidy while he was on the Partridge Family - "I think I love you." (also a line from Four Weddings and a Funeral for those keeping track)
• Still adore Melanie, but I'm fearful that the obvious pimping of her as the winner will make her land in the "best dancer never wins" hall of fame. (previous inductees include Blake McGrath, Danny Tidwell, Travis Wall, Will Wingfield, and Jakob Karr )

So who's going home tonight? Based on crappy choreography and judges who obviously were told not to pimp them - I'd say "Bus, meet Ricky and Caitlynn, Ricky and Caitlynn, meet the bus."

Tonight = a Gaga performance which = MARK! (it was actually pre-taped so I know for a fact that he was there) Woo Hoo!!
