Because I like making a list almost as much as I like ice cream, here are my predictions for this season - in order of how I think the dancers SHOULD be eliminated. (not how they will be eliminated because we all know the right person never wins...sniff, sniff...Travis....Blake....Danny....Katee....Jakob.....)
11. Ashley Galvan: Who? Having seen her for the very first time last night I'd say the poor girl is being set up. Ashley...it's been nice (not) knowing you.
10. Jose Ruiz: With a noticeable lack of hip-hop dancers, I feel like they had to make a spot for b-boy Jose. He has potential to be a decent overall dancer, but I think his potential stops at decent.
9. Adechike Torbert: Mia likes him - so he's got that going for him. His main problem is that he will have to compete with the other contemporary dancers in the group and there's no way he'll be able to keep up.
8. Christina Santana: The only ballroom dancer in this year's group will definitely have the advantage when it comes to partnering. I'm sure she'll be amazing when paired with Pascha, but with Twitch in Hip Hop will be a big ole mess.
7. Melinda Sullivan: This show is never kind to tappers - and neither are the voters. Her solos will never reach the level of the other competitors and I'm afraid that her edgy personality will only get her halfway through the season.
6. Lauren Froderman: To me, Lauren is like the new Katy Perry song California Girls. I really want to hate it, I really really really want to hate it, but I just can't. Her final solo to "At Last" showed balance, control, and technique. Little girls will want to be her, and will therefore vote for her.
5. Robert Roldan: We haven't seen very much of Rob thus far, but I can tell you that he is a fabulous dancer. I've seen him perform multiple times as a member of the "Bad Boys of Dance" (alongside Jakob Karr, Danny Tidwell, and the oh so dreamy choreographer Rasta Thomas.) Yes, he's also my secret boyfriend of the season (don't tell Travis or Mark) so I have to keep the hope alive that he goes far.
4. Alexie Agdeppa: In my opinion, Alexie is probably the best female this season. Beautiful extension and amazing lines make her very entertaining to watch. However, I am VERY afraid that she will be all HMV. (feel free to email or ask in the comments if you aren't familiar with HMV)
3. Billy Bell: I love me some Billy Bell...I could watch him dance for hours on end. But, with the number of contempory boys this season, I think he'll get cut at #3.
2.Kent Boyd: I want to squeeze him and pet him and put him in my pocket. He executed a near-perfect contemporary routine, and then delivered a speech that was deserving of a slow clap. ''I'm from a freaking farm, and I just danced next to Alex freaking Wong, and Anthony, who could frickin' smash the crap out of me. I'll never have kicks like them! Obviously, I have the heart, you know? I want to get the kicks. I want to be... I just want it, you know?'' My Grinch heart grew three sizes. The judges will love him, the tweens will love him, and I think he may just win. (although, he shouldn't)
1. Alex Wong: I've got two words for you... Danny - Tidwell. (see season 3 SYTYCD) Technically, the best dancer by far - but he's going to get over looked by the tween power voters. With his rigid ballet background, and lack of a "cute" personality, the twelve year olds are not going to take a liking, and the votes are not going to come in. Oh how I hope I'm wrong, because to see him dance with All-Star Allison Holker will be AH-MAY-ZING. Alex SHOULD win.

Totally agree with your assessment -- and so funny that you sent Stace the comment about Pascha, esp since I pretty much said the same thing in my email before I read your blog. Danny T. is still my #1, after Rasta, of course.
