Have I mentioned that I'm really loving the new show "Flash Forward." Makes me use my brain a little, which is a welcome change from the majority of the TV I watch. I'm also loving the new comedy "Modern Family" - a show hasn't made me laugh out loud regularly since Arrested Development, so it's a nice change of pace. And of course, I'm still addicted to "Glee." Last week's episode will forever be saved on my DVR.
And now for the news:
- Lots of shows getting renewed for another season. So far I've heard, Top Chef, Californication,
The Real Housewives of New Jersey, 10 Things I Hate About You, Make It or Break It, and Secret Life.
- So far, "The Beautiful Life" is the only new show to be officially cancelled. However, don't get too attached to the new version of "Melrose Place" or to Kelsey Grammer's new show "Hank" - both are getting really bad reviews and the rumors of cancellation are looming....
- American Idol is bringing back its "Idol Gives Back" charitable special on April 21 after a yearlong hiatus. I'm already dreading it....
- TV Land has landed the primetime broadcast rights for Everybody Loves Raymond, Boston Legal, Home Improvement, and The Nanny.

I'm also loving "Glee." Jane Lynch is incredibly funny as the Cheerios coach. I also still like "Community." I've seen "Modern Family" once, though I still have last night's episode on my DVR to watch. The first week was definitely laugh-out-loud funny.
