TV Updates!

Before I get out the lysol to disinfect everything in my house...here are all of the TV updates you've been so desperately missing!!

- So You Think You Can Dance is back this week!! This is the one TV show that I absolutely cannot miss. I love that it actually focuses on TALENTED dancers and incredible choreography. But, the best news is that because of the incredible ratings it always receives, FOX wants SYTYCD to be a fall, rather than summer, show. So, after this last summer run, starting in fall '09 it will be broadcast during the fall season. So, just this once, two seasons of the show in one year!! WOO HOO!!

- ABC just announced that Castle, Better Off Ted, and Scrubs have all been renewed for another year. Fox announced that Dollhouse will also be back for a second season.

- The American Idol finale will air this week with Adam vs. Kris. (I'll post my predictions in a few days of who will win and why...) Performers at the finale will include Carrie Underwood, David Cook, Cyndi Lauper, Lionel Richie, Carlos Santana, Black Eyed Peas, and Keith Urban.

- The format for the American Idol performance show will be similar to past years. Round One will be the Contestant’s favorite song from the season. Round Two will be a song chosen by American Idol Producer Simon Fuller. Round Three will be the Winner’s Single (written by Kara DioGuardi.) The two finalists flipped a coin to decide on performance order, and Kris won the coin toss and decided to close the show.

- Be sure to set your DVR for "Glee" on Tuesday night. It's getting really good reviews! I'm also very biased because of one of the songs featured in the show's extended trailer. Watch below!
