American Idol was so disappointing last night....I wasn't really impressed with either contestant. That winner's song written by Kara should be taken out back and shot. Awful Awful Awful. Also, how did Kris Allen forget the lyrics when a very obvious telepromter was giving them all of the words? My favorite part of the entire show was each time that they showed Danny Gokey... he looked like he was about to cry. Oh how I wanted him to run up on the stage, steal the microphone and bust into "A Moment Like This..."
I still think that Kris Allen is going to win, although I would be happy with either. Reagardless, we have to hear that song yet again and I'm not sure my ears can take it. I'm just hoping that we get to see Tatiana Del Toro tonight...she deserves to sing on the big stage!
In other TV news:
- I absolutely loved Glee. Now we just have to wait 4 months to see the next episode.
- Priviledged has officially been canceled. So sad.... Also canceled are Without a Trace, Reaper, The Game, Everybody Hates Chris, and the Gossip Girl spin off show.
- CBS has picked up Medium (from NBC) and will air it on Friday nights following Ghost Whisperer.
- Friday Night Lights will be back for two more seasons on NBC, but not until summer of 2010.
- CBS will move How I Met Your Mother to 8:00 on Monday, put a new comedy at 8:30, and then move Big Bang Theory to 9:30.
- Chace Crawford has been cast in the remake of Footloose. He's pretty to look at, but the boy just can't act.
Can't decide if I want to spend two hours of my life "live blogging" the American Idol finale tonight. If I get at least 5 comments from people that read this that want me to, I will - - otherwise I will be fast-forwarding through like a champ....

I knew you would love Glee, why you ask? Because I hated it! Our preferences are so predictable. Gotta love our love/hate friendship;-)
Ain't that the truth! You point at a picture and say "my God those are the ugliest shoes I've ever seen!" I hang my head in shame knowing I just purchased them in three colors....
At least we both agree that PB&J bars are heaven sent and that Mitch Gaylord should try for a comeback :)
Blog, blog, blog!! Although, I'll be using the DVR to fast-forward, so if you don't do it live, I'll be OK. :) I was totally cracking up when Simon told Kara, "It’s the mountains and the hurricanes…look, I’m not going to judge the song, I’m going to judge you.” That song was BAD!
I watched an interview that said that the finale songs on these latest idol shows have never been worse! They need to find who wrote 'A Moment Like This' and pay that person to do it!
