- The CW is close to renewing the show Privileged. YAY!!! According to Entertainment Weekly, the network has decided to run repeats of the cult fave on Fridays throughout the summer. Why would The CW waste an hour of its schedule on a show that had no future? It's simple: they wouldn't!
- Tomorrow night is the 100th episode of Lost - and it's going to be a good one! Written by Executive Producers Damon and Carlton, the episode is titled "The Variable" and is basically the antithesis of last year's fantastic episode "The Constant."
- There is a pending sexual harassment lawsuit against Henry Ian Cusick, who plays Desmond on Lost. In the past, when actors from Lost get in trouble with the law, their on screen characters get killed. (Libby, Anna Lucia...) Is this bad news for Desmond?
- President Obama will hold a press conference tomorrow night at 8:00 detailing his first 100 days in office. The FOX network will NOT carry the press conference so as not to disturb their Wednesday night ratings hold with American Idol. HOWEVER, it may affect Lost on ABC, so set your DVR's accordingly.
- American Idol tonight - the contestants sing songs from the Rat Pack. Can't wait to hear Adam's take on some good old Frank. But, how much do I wish that he'd come out in drag and sing/screech "the Lady is a Tramp." Now that would be TV gold!
- Hulu.com is about to finalize a deal with ABC/Disney which means that all ABC TV shows will be available on the website (LOST!) along with a variety of Disney movies.
- The finalists are in for the name of the new baby elephant at the Columbus Zoo. Of the 11,000 entries, the finalists are: Beco (It combines the names of the baby's mother, Phoebe, and father Coco.) Damai (which means peace in Indonesian.) Sattva (a Sanskrit word meaning purity.) Siddhartha (a word from Sanskrit meaning fulfillment. It would be shortened to Sid.) Vote for your favorite at http://www.columbuszoo.org/. The one that receives the most votes by midnight May 6 will be announced at the zoo on Mother's Day.
