Have to start by saying that I have never loved Adam Lambert more. Loved to dress up as a kid, red hair, freckles, love love love it. Then he proceeded to sing one of my favorite songs ever. It was originally performed by Tears for Fears, but the version he did (and the version that I've always loved) was a cover by Gary Jules. Look it up on youtube - - I've had this version on my ipod for years. If you've seen Donnie Darko, you know it. My only complaint is that the lighting looked like he was about to be "beamed up" by the mother ship, and for a second I thought he was sitting on a toilet.
Other idol thoughts.... (get it....idol...ok, never mind)
- Danny Gokey sux. I wish there was a way to vote against people...or at least a way to sick the smoke monster on them.
- Anoop's parents should get a spin off show. I would watch every week.
- I liked Allison's performance, but listening to her sing “turn down the lights, turn down the bed…” made me think that Chris Hansen was going to bust through the door.
- I can't be mean to the blind guy this week, but wow was he bad. He needs to be put out of his misery (and mine.)
- Chris...a porn star from 1975 called and he wants his mustache back.

Allison & Adam in the finals....yep!
I thought that same thing when Allison started singing. :) Loved Allison, Adam, and Matt last night. Time for Scott to go home.
