It was just announced that beginning March 26th, ABC is benching Ugly Betty and replacing it with episodes of Samantha Who? and the new comedy In the Motherhood.
The network's press release says, "Ugly Betty will return to Thursday nights at 8:00 p.m. following the run of In the Motherhood and Samantha Who?"
I'm sure Ugly Betty will come back at some point, but most likely outside the regular season when ratings aren't good and viewership is decreased. It's not a gonner yet.....but it's not looking good.

oh man...I saw my name in the title when I first came to your page and got a sick feeling in my stomach! Thank goodness it wasn't more bad news for me and my tv viewing!
What?!!! That's just crap. Didn't America Ferrera win an Emmy for her role? I don't understand why execs cancel shows that get recognized as being good. I read the Motherhood show has Megan Mullally, whom I like, but I may have to boycott simply because they screwed over my Betty. Stupid TV people...
