I watched more of the election returns than I thought I would last night - and I must admit that it was really touching to see so many people, so moved by Obama being elected. Being the pasty white suburban girl that I am, I can't really appreciate what it must mean to people to finally see someone that "looks like them" in the White House. A picture really is worth a thousand words...
Regardless of your choice in candidate, or your opinion on the issues, I think we can all breathe a collective sigh and just thank God that all of the campaign commercials, signs, and phone calls are finally over. Timberlake in 2012!!
