Let's just put it out there....I watch a lot of tv. Drama, comedy, reality show... there isn't a category of televsion that I don't enjoy. (With the exception of dumb slapstick comedies - but that rant is for another post.) I also love movies - some so much that I can recite them word for word. Music, books, celebrity gossip, and all things pop culture related round out my other favorite things. (My favorite things do not include cream colored ponies, crisp apple streudel, or brown paper packages tied up with string. I think if I ever got a package tied up with string I'd throw it back in the cheap bastards face!)
So anyway, because of my love for these things, (and with some prodding from Jen) I finally decided to start my own site to talk about them. Mixed in with all the Pop Culture "stuff" will be other random thoughts, reviews, and some updates on my life (whew...sounds exciting doesn't it!!)
Thanks to Mom for coming up with the idea for "showflake" (since I like snowflakes, and I'm a flake, and I like shows?) And thanks to Jen for the idea of "Hopelessly Devoted" - - cause a line from Grease is always the best place to start!

Ok, how is it you've had a blog for 1.5 seconds and it's already 1000 times more involved and cooler than mine??

Well, I am pretty cool - but I'd say the main reason is that I am not chasing kids around all day and dealing with a husband! I have a whole lot more free time than you :)
now I'm gonna go cry in the corner...)
